MyFoodFit

Platform & App Review Information

This page exists to support platform reviewers, app store teams, payment providers, and institutional assessment processes. It provides a factual overview of what MyFoodFit is, what it is not, and how we approach responsible development.

What MyFoodFit is

MyFoodFit is an early-stage, research-aware, rule-based food interpretation tool.

It provides explainable, preference-aware signals to help users understand food products based on ingredients, nutrition data, and stated preferences.

The system uses transparent logic that can be traced and explained. It is not predictive or diagnostic.

All evaluations are designed to be interpretable, with clear reasoning visible to users.

What MyFoodFit is not

MyFoodFit is not a medical device.

It does not provide diagnosis or treatment of any health condition.

It is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice.

The tool does not make health claims or guarantee specific health outcomes.

Responsible use & safeguards

We apply conservative defaults when data is incomplete or uncertain, rather than making assumptions that could mislead users.

Explainability and confidence indicators are integrated throughout the interface, allowing users to understand how evaluations are formed and when to interpret results with caution.

Clear presentation of uncertainty is a design principle. Where data quality varies or rules have limitations, this is communicated to users.

The product is in active beta and designed to evolve with evidence and feedback.
