MyFoodFit

For partners

We are looking for partners who value transparent, rule-based tooling and are comfortable working with an early-stage product.

Current maturity and collaboration expectations

MyFoodFit is a functioning product at v6.1.0 (Build 105 on TestFlight). Core features (barcode scanning, AI photo scanning, personalised scoring, food discovery, and offline capability) are all live. Coverage, rule refinement, and evaluation are ongoing. The product is UK-first, with expansion planned for Australia and US/Canada.

What collaboration is at this stage

  • Exploratory discussion about rule logic, explainability, and usability.
  • Co-design of scoped studies with clear boundaries and realistic timelines.
  • Feedback on how the product fits within food literacy or public health contexts.

What collaboration is not at this stage

  • Not deployment-ready for large-scale institutional rollout.
  • Not validated for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
  • Not a finished product. Functionality and coverage will continue to evolve.

We are open to evaluation, critique, and iteration. Partners should expect active development and ongoing refinement.

Academic & research collaboration

MyFoodFit is early-stage and designed to be reviewed, tested, and refined through academic partnership.

What collaboration could look like

  • Co-designed usability studies to evaluate explainability and clarity.
  • Expert review of rule logic, thresholds, and source mapping.
  • Pilot testing with defined research questions and scoped objectives.
  • Feedback on how the product fits within broader food literacy research.

What we can provide

  • Access to transparent rulesets and version history.
  • Documentation of logic, data sources, and limitations.
  • Willingness to adapt the product based on research findings.

What we need

  • Clear study boundaries and realistic scope.
  • Ethics review guidance where applicable.
  • Understanding that MyFoodFit is early-stage and functionality may evolve.

MyFoodFit is explicitly early-stage. We do not claim validated outcomes or clinical efficacy at this time.

Live features available for evaluation

The following capabilities are implemented and available now for partner evaluation.

  • AI photo scanning: photograph a meal or label to get per-item personalised scores without a barcode.
  • Natural language food discovery (Find Food) for environments where label scanning is not practical.
  • Offline-first scanning bundle covering approximately 120,000 UK products for use without a network connection.

Institutional & public-sector use

We are open to exploratory discussions with public-sector programs, local authorities, and institutional partners interested in food literacy tools.

What collaboration could look like

  • Pilot programs focused on food label understanding and transparency.
  • Feedback on how rule-based guidance fits within public health initiatives.
  • Co-design of educational materials or complementary resources.
  • Evaluation of usability in community or institutional settings.

What we can provide

  • Transparent documentation of how the product works and its limitations.
  • Collaboration on scoped pilots with clear objectives and timelines.
  • Openness to feedback and iterative refinement.

What we need

  • Realistic expectations about early-stage product capabilities.
  • Clear communication about institutional requirements and constraints.
  • Willingness to work within the current beta scope and limitations.

MyFoodFit is explicitly early-stage. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and any institutional use must be scoped accordingly.

We do not claim clinical outcomes or provide medical advice. Any collaboration will be scoped to the current beta capabilities.
